Virtual Collage Workshop

Come join me in collaging!

Collage is a fun and powerful medium for artistic expression. In this workshop, participants will learn the basics of collaging; we will go over tools, the basics of cutting, adhering, and composition. We will be using personal and pop culture images to express ourselves and imbue static images with new meaning.

The workshop will begin with a brief introduction to contemporary collage artists, before a demonstration on tools, the basics of cutting, and adhering. We will be creating 4-6 collaged postcards that participants can send to friends and family or keep for themselves. I will be providing some general templates to follow, so participants can gain skills in cutting various shapes and patterns.
